Founder & Director
Rob has been an active part of Canada’s creative industries for over 20 years. He is known for building impactful events, building audience, & working his butt off. His strengths lie in his years of experience, his ability to connect the right people, his drive to elevate Vancouver & Canada’s spot on the cultural map, & his passion around music & culture. He’s also super fun, full of energy & his rock kick is pretty badass.
In 2010, Rob formed Secret Study to connect brands with talented musicians & artists in order to create meaningful & memorable cultural engagements. Secret Study has since become a go-to full service agency with clients around the globe.
When he’s “not busy,” Rob also serves on the Boards of the Vancouver Music Adaptive Society, Music Heals BC, & the City of Vancouver’s Music City Committee.
Director of Content, Design, Media & Technology
Mirko Vogel is an experienced & internationally recognized composer, sound designer, engineer & programmer. (Say that 10 times fast!)
Mirko’s projects have taken him to over 60 countries with a broad spectrum of work & collaborations from indie rock bands to Grammy-winning & -nominated artists, award-winning filmmakers, TV producers & video game publishers. He has worked on countless sound design & composition projects for HBO, BBC, iTV, MTV, AMC Networkd, CBS, Viacom Networks, & Nintendo.
Most recently, he was Engineer & Chief Collaborator on Cut Copy’s Grammy-nominated album “Zonoscope,” & their follow-up album “Free Your Mind.” He also mixed & programmed for Nick Murphy (a.k.a. Chet Faker), as well as for FLUME whose album won a Grammy for “Best Electronic Album 2017.”
Mirko recently moved to Vancouver where he has setup his family & his newest production studio. His passion around sound & music is rivalled only by his long love of Vietnamese pho.
Revenue & Business Development
Paul has over 20 years experience in business development and management roles. Borrrring, you might think.. but no! He is valued for his innovation and ability to identify key sales strategies resulting in traction and revenue. That's fun! And as a sales manager overseeing an inside sales team in the book publishing industry he led annual revenue growth from $200,000 to $3M run rate in a two year window. Nice work, Paul!
Paul brings valuable experience in strategy, business development and in leveraging his extensive professional network. His business and consulting experience includes digital media, tech startups, online wholesale and retail, and book publishing. Paul, you da best.
Lydia Hol is a Vancouver artist and cultural services administrator. One of her many talents is keeping up with Rob & Mirko.
Lydia has worked directly with the Rogue Folk Club administering funding programs and grants, as well as been a talent buyer and stage manager for numerous festivals and events. SUCH AS? When she isn’t touring and playing shows IS THIS CORRECT??MUSICIAN?, Lydia is also a well respected Yoga instructor. WHAT KIND??
